How We Began Our Journey
At Achari Zaika, our journey is about strength, family, and the love for real flavors. I am a proud mother of two, blessed with a husband who has been my biggest support. After marriage, I couldn’t step into a career of my own, and life became more challenging after the birth of my second child, when I was diagnosed with a pituitary gland growth that began affecting my eyesight. It was one of the toughest phases of my life.
Thanks to timely surgery and my husband’s encouragement, I regained my health and the confidence to follow my passion. Cooking had always been my comfort, and among all recipes, I discovered my special love for pickles — the art of mixing spices, the richness of mustard oil, and the traditional methods that reminded me of home.
This passion gave birth to Achari Zaika, a venture that’s not just about food, but about resilience and tradition. Every jar is crafted with care, authenticity, and the same love with which our grandmothers once prepared their achaar.
With your support, I hope to spread these authentic Punjabi flavors far and wide, and turn this dream into something truly meaningful.
